Listen, for a five you have to be excellent. The burger was tasty. Patty very tall/thick and with the other ingredients, hard to get my mouth around it. It had good flavor and was cooked close to desired temperature but my husband's wasn't. He said his was too medium/well done. The fries were pretty good. I wanted to eat more so that's my measure of goodness. I can stay away from a subpar or average fry. When I eat more than a few I know I like them and I did that here. Service. The young crew is friendly nice and helpful. Some of the other staff are very serious, curt, cut and dry. It is very tight in the restaurant. With four of us at a table we had to play chess with everything on the table. I wouldn't go back again during flu season. It is pretty and I like the lighting. Honestly kind of average but kind of good too. I wouldn't run back here but I would visit again.

Loved the people and vibe. I'm not the hamburger guru, probably best burger in the area. That being said I don't think I would drive out of my way for it. Would get the French onion soup again, would try a different burger. I will say, The cook on the burger was perfect

We love this place and have enjoyed eating there for the last 10 years. Not fancy, but is a reliable place with quality food and good service. We enjoy the 16 oz ribeye steak with either a baked potato or onion rings and sometimes creamed spinach on the side. They give you a nice small side salad and warm bread as well. We were stuffed, and given what fancier places charge for a quality steak, we think it's the best deal in Westchester. Plus they have a cute outdoor deck and a variety of beers on tap--we had Michelob Ultra which was perfect for the hot weather. Again, we love this place!

When you want a great burger & wings this place is for you! Service was impeccable, our waitress helped us decide between things and was very helpful. My burger was a smothered burger med. rare with bacon and onions rings, side of fries and also wings for my husband with chunky blue cheese! Sorry no burger pics!! The place looks like it did years ago, not fancy but homie. Don't judge a book by its cover!

Best cuts of meat and awesome burgers! Service is warm and friendly. The dining room needs a complete top to bottom re do. It's the same everything that I remember from the 1970's.

I was out with my family and they have mentioned that this place was good from a friend. I'm so glad we tried it since the food was phenomenal, service was very friendly, and a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend and would go back anytime! The food came out fast and the prices were great.

It's been awhile since I've been here (pre-Yelp days), but always thought they rated in my top 5 all-time burger joints. Today did not disappoint. Sat at the bar, and was ably served by Lori. Lots of enticing menu choices, but when you come to a place voted as having the best burger in Westchester county 4x in the past 20 years, is there really any choice? Ordered MW w well-done fries. Bonus - among the many draft beer choices, they offer Stella! While waiting for the burger, met Rosie, arguably (per Lori) the best server in Westchester. Wonderful Irish brogue, this Lassy! Anyway, the burger was sooooo good, it practically melted in my mouth. Fries were perfect, and the Stella was stellar. One small quibble - I prefer fried onions a bit more on the "wet" side, more buttery. All-in-all, though, a 5-star experience. And, drum roll, very clean men's room (with a 6-panel hardwood door!). Come in for the food, stay for the small talk with Lori and Rosie.
